Finished the New Testament! What's next?


Thank you for going on this journey with me!  We started in Mark, studied through 3 chapters a day, and just finished the New Testament with Revelation.


I'll keep you posted at DailyRhythm.online and through this email on what writing/creative projects are coming down the road.


In the meantime, I want to encourage you to download the YouVersion Bible app on your phone and continue your daily rhythm of reading/listening to the Bible every day!  In addition to God's Word, the Bible app has amazing lesson plans, the ability to highlight/take notes, study along with friends, a streak tracker, daily videos, and so much more!  I've been using the NIV translation if that helps!


As you allow God's Word to be deposited into your mind every day and apply what it says (James 1:22), I believe you'll join me in saying this was one of the best decisions of your life!

Win or Lose?

“He said to me: ‘It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life.  Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children.  But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.’” -Revelation 21:6-8

When a sports game is over, there are winners and losers. When life as we know it is over, there will also be eternal winners and losers!


We experience victory by making the right decision when it comes to the greatest decision in life! When you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you join the winning team! You get to walk in victory with Christ every day, not just finish with victory!


However, if you reject God‘s free offer of grace through His Son Jesus, you lose everything in eternity! Part of our message to the world is that God does not want you to lose in eternity and neither do we, but there is an eternal consequence for rejecting God on earth (v.8)!


In addition to becoming a winner in Christ, we can help other people experience victory as well! Are you investing your life in helping other people experience victory in Jesus?


Make your one life count by living for Jesus on earth so you can have much to look forward to in heaven!

Jesus Is On The Way

“When they see the smoke of her burning, they will exclaim, ‘Was there ever a city like this great city?’ They will throw dust on their heads, and with weeping and mourning cry out: “ ‘Woe! Woe to you, great city, where all who had ships on the sea became rich through her wealth! In one hour she has been brought to ruin!’ “Rejoice over her, you heavens! Rejoice, you people of God! Rejoice, apostles and prophets! For God has judged her with the judgment she imposed on you.’” -Revelation‬ ‭18‬:‭18‬-‭20

Jesus is coming back! We don’t know when, but we know that He will come like a thief in the night (1 Thessalonians 5:2).


People will be surprised as everything changes in a moment! Things that have taken a lifetime to build, can be destroyed in an hour (v.19).


God's judgment is coming!


We do not know when Jesus is coming back, but we know that He definitely is returning!


Since we know He is on the way, we should live our lives with expectancy and make sure that we are prepared!


Are you daily walking in the Spirit and making the most of the time you have to help others find Jesus? The time is short! Jesus is on the way!
